Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Who we are
Ledgerlight ("the Service") is provided by Pedro Rodriguez, an individual seller based in Portugal ("we", "us"). By using the Service you are contracting with Pedro Rodriguez.
Pedro Rodriguez is the developer of the app. The Service runs on hosting, database, sign-in and storage infrastructure provided and operated by Lovable (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase). We do not own or operate that infrastructure: Lovable is responsible for running, maintaining and protecting it. Our responsibility is limited to developing and operating the app itself. Payments are handled by Paddle.com (see section 7).
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
3. The Service
Ledgerlight is a personal-finance app for recording movements, planning budgets and tracking goals. It is a tool for your own records and does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
4. Your account
You must be of legal age to enter a contract in your country. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including:
- using it for unlawful purposes, fraud or spam;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property;
- interfering with its security — uploading malware, probing, scraping or attempting unauthorised access;
- reverse engineering, reselling or circumventing technical limits.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for personal purposes. Your data stays yours; you let us store and process it only to provide the Service.
7. Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Lifetime Access is a one-time payment with no recurring charge. See our Refund Policy.
8. Service level
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important records.
9. Responsibility and liability
Our responsibility is limited to developing and maintaining the app. The hosting, database, sign-in and storage infrastructure is operated by Lovable, and payment processing is handled by Paddle.com; issues arising from their services are governed by their own terms and security commitments.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment or chargebacks, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can delete your account at any time; your data is then deleted from our servers.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms and will post the new version here. These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
